I stayed here a couple of years ago and loved it, so I came back. My latest stay, in Jan 2026, was horrifying. The double bed in the first room I was given was full of bed bugs. I felt itchy at 4am and saw them, then had no choice but to stay up and wait as staff instructed because there were no other rooms. In the afternoon they moved me to a twin room on a higher floor, and both beds there had bed bugs too. I think the whole place might be infested. The manager and staff were nice and responded promptly when I called, but didn’t seem to understand how serious the problem was. The housecleaning lady even folded the beds back, ready for the next guest, lol. When I decided not to continue my stay, the hotel said they couldn’t refund me. Thank goodness I’d booked through agoda and could get refunded credits. I don’t usually leave bad reviews. The room was good and clean, as I remembered, the staff were nice, and I really love the location and ambience. But I’m leaving this to warn travellers: check your bed if you decide to stay. Management needs to deal with the bed bug problem before people carry them elsewhere.

Saravoan Royal Palace made a great base for exploring Phnom Penh. You can step outside and be close to the Royal Palace, the riverfront, and lots of places to eat, which made sightseeing easy. Though the area is busy, the property itself feels calm. Our room looked clean and a bit more premium than we expected for the price. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the shower pressure was good. Reception staff were friendly and quick to point us in the right direction. Breakfast was good and the Wi-Fi reliable. We’d definitely stay again.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city but sits in a quiet area. Our room was large, clean, and lovely, and breakfast was à la carte. The staff were friendly and even helped me change a wrong, non-refundable booking with Agoda for free.

A real oasis in PP, with modern rooms that are lovely and fully stocked. It’s very quiet, and the breakfast was nice. The staff were great too. The location is handy for the waterfront and restaurants.

Set back from the street, the hotel feels like a private courtyard even though it’s right in the middle of the action. Our room was at the back, quiet and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly, helpful, and nice. We enjoyed the stay and liked the breakfast choices. There are lots of other places to eat within walking distance, too. They even left a little “Safety Tips” note to help guests stay safe. We’d definitely recommend it if they have availability.
