Vacation Boutique Hotel

I never got to see a room. When I asked the receptionist to show me one, he kept saying, “the rooms look exactly like on booking, just book and then you can see.” I tried five times to explain that I wanted to see the room before booking. He was either lazy or trying to hide something, I couldn’t tell. After going back and forth, I just left. Unbelievable.

The hotel was clean, but the location was so-so. I didn’t realize there would be so many stairs, or I never would have come. They said they could change it the next day, but didn’t. There’s no elevator, and the third floor here is like the fifth floor in other apartments. My room didn’t have a bathroom door, only a curtain. Who thought that was a good idea?

I have no complaints about the hotel. Just be aware there’s no elevator or kitchen.

The drawbacks first: there’s no elevator, so it’s not ideal for older adults. The toilet smelled a little, though it wasn’t too bad, and my double room had no toilet door. There’s nearby construction, which can get annoyingly loud. The hotel restaurant wasn’t operating at the time, and the area around it was dimly lit. On the plus side, the staff were super polite and friendly, smiling whenever I came or went. They printed my documents for free, and made up my room every day. It was spacious, better than most hotels at this price, and the rate I got through Agoda was very reasonable. Very honest review, 31 Oct 2024. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
