We had a clean, spacious room with a simple but elegant look, a good shower and toilet, a kettle for tea or coffee, and good A.C. Breakfast was good too, and the Wi-Fi stayed reliable. Staff greeted us warmly, and the resident tuk-tuk drivers were polite and friendly. They offered better prices than drivers we met on the street, so there was no need to haggle. The hotel is close to the national monument, with the royal palace and riverfront an easy walk away. There are a few places to eat nearby, including a nice vegetarian restaurant right next door. One drawback: mosquitoes were all over the dining area in the morning, and we got bitten several times while waiting for breakfast. Bring repellent. A couple of fans might help. We found it very good value and would recommend it.
