The guesthouse was right in the town centre, so finding food and transport was convenient. The facilities were the opposite of convenient, though. We booked two rooms, and the air conditioner in one of them didn't work. It was so hot that getting through the night was difficult. We asked the staff to fix it or move us to another room, but they struggled to understand our English and we had to explain several times. In the end, we called the owner to report the problem, and only then were we given another room with working air conditioning.

The staff were friendly, and the location is great, with scooter rentals, laundry, bus tickets, plenty of food, and night markets nearby. The rooms could use a remodel, though.

The owners are friendly, and the room was clean, though if you're staying several days, it's best to ask the hotel owner to clean it. Pub Street is very close, about 5 minutes away. There's a motorbike and bicycle rental shop right out front and next door.

The rooms are nice, very clean, and have nice bedding. But I've never stayed somewhere this noisy. People in the room above were moving furniture at 2 am and seemed to be tap dancing at 7 am. People shouted in the corridors, and the staff were loud too. Everybody was loud. The location is nice, but go elsewhere if you want a restful night.

The host was so nice and helpful, even upgrading our room to a deluxe one at no extra charge. She also arranged our “tuktuk” for the trip back to the airport so we wouldn't be overcharged. It's a great, comfortable budget place close to Pub Street, and I'd highly recommend it.
