Central Night Hotel

The reception and housekeeping teams were excellent and helpful, and I got an early check in. The bathrooms were clean and the aircons worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable, and the small pool was a nice place to chill. The location was nice and easy to access. My only issue was the very limited breakfast choice, especially for vegeterian travelers.

Getting to the hotel was easy and the rooms were clean. But the bathroom doors were loose, and the AC didn’t work properly. We confirmed before booking that the breakfast would suit vegetarians, but the food provided wasn’t vegetarian friendly.

Everything we needed was within walking distance. The rooms were decent and definitely budget-friendly. We stayed for 3 nights.

We extended our stay by two nights, which says a lot about how much we enjoyed it. Central Night Hotel is comfortable and affordable, and the location made it easy to reach nearby restaurants, night markets, and Pub Street on foot. Our room was bigger than expected for two, with two large beds, a closet room, and two big windows that kept it bright. It was a nice place to relax after exploring, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They kept the room in good shape, making the bed daily, topping up the water, and taking out the trash. Breakfast was very affordable. There were eggs cooked different ways, toast and baguette with butter and jam, a warm dish that changed daily, pancakes, fruit like watermelon, pineapple and banana, sometimes dragon fruit, plus water, tea, coffee with milk, and juice. The choice felt repetitive over our eight-day stay, and on a couple of mornings staff seemed overwhelmed, so refills took longer. Still decent for Cambodian standards and not a big issue at that price. We especially liked starting the day without any fuss. We could hear nearby bars in the evenings, which was annoying, and the shower flooded the bathroom. The flip-flops they provided helped with that. Ants in the room and bathroom were the main reason for my four-star rating.
