GZ Angkor Boutique

The staff are what made this stay so special. The young team went out of their way from our arrival right through to the end, when everyone came outside to say goodbye as we were picked up. They made us feel at home. The property is cute and cozy, and feels far from the city's rush even though it's only a few blocks from the center. The pool was clean and refreshing despite the 32°C heat. Breakfast was delicious, and so were the à la carte meals we tried. We stayed three nights. We usually skip tours because we don't want to wait around for a group, but they arranged a small private tuk-tuk tour at a very good price, including sunrise. Our driver was great, waved at us with a smile, drove carefully, and spoke good English. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience!

This is the second G&Z boutique hotel, so don't mix it up with their other property, G&Z Urban. The hotel is quite far from the city center, but it's in perfect condition. Staff welcomed us with big smiles when they picked us up at Giant Ibis bus terminal. They told me about the tours when I arrived, but didn't push me to join.

My experience with the G&Z group was extremely bad. I booked two rooms at G&Z Angkor Boutique, but we ended up at G&Z Bliss Angkor Suites, which is a lower category. Nobody told us about the change, and I felt disappointed. I believe G&Z misleads people with these changes. I'd advise everyone not to book with G&Z hotels.

A quiet, comfortable place with clean rooms and awesome service. I loved the pool, and it's close to where things are happening in town 😊
