The main reason we picked this cheap place was its distance from Angkor temple, close enough to ride a bicycle. The basic breakfast was just two pieces of toast, butter, and a small coffee. You can rent a bike for $2 a day, though they're simple ones with tiny wheels and no gears. We got a mountain bike from butterfly tours, about 100m away, for $5 a day, which was much better for the stony and sandy parts of the route. Tuk tuks are available too: $20 for the little loop, $30 for the big loop, plus $5 for sunrise or sunset, and $35 to Banteay Srei. Prices downtown are about $5 lower for each trip, even though it's farther from the temple. Room 109 was very dirty and smelled strongly of damp. A light exploded in my hand, and the bathroom light couldn't be switched off, so the door wouldn't close. We were moved upstairs the next day; that room was better, though it still smelled a little damp. The price was $10 for one night.
