SAKABAN Suite

The peaceful atmosphere was what made this hotel feel like a real escape from the noise. It’s calm rather than crowded and chaotic, so you can actually relax. The spacious rooms have a simple, clean design and feel welcoming. I especially liked the shower, with strong pressure and plenty of hot water, a nice way to end the day. The large pool works for swimming laps or sitting by the water with a book. For the price, you get a lot of comfort and quality without paying for a brand name.

If you like heritage or old-style hotels, you’ll admire Sakaban Hotel. It’s also a great fit if cleanliness matters to you. I’ve never seen such a clean small hotel. Huge kudos to the whole Sakaban family, especially the housekeeping ladies, restaurant staff, and reception team. Sky was not only very friendly at check-in, but also knew the area well. We loved our stay and will be back. Highly recommend it in Siem Reap.

Air Asia recommended Sakaban Suite, and I’m glad they did. We stayed two nights in December in a good boutique hotel. Our ground-floor room had three beds, one king and two queens, plenty for a couple and two kids, with direct access to the pool right outside. It also had an outdoor shower that felt like a waterfall shower. The staff were friendly and knew Seam Reap well.

They held our luggage and got our laundry done promptly. The hotel was great, with an amazing breakfast, and the staff were very accommodating. They even let me use the spa bath after checkout so I could freshen up before our flight.
