Tanei Angkor Resort And Spa

The owner would be out in the gardens and around the resort each morning, often with his wife beside him. It was lovely to see how much care he puts into keeping the place clean and enjoyable. This was our third stay at Tanei Angkor Resort and Spa, and we’re grateful for another great visit. It’s near Pub Street, shops, and markets, yet makes a peaceful spot if you want some quiet. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. We could relax by the pool with a drink, and breakfast was excellent every morning, with omelettes, local soups, a varied buffet, and local fruit. We’ll be back, and I’ll keep recommending Tanei to people we know. Thanks to Tanei and the whole team.

Our room was bright and spacious, the beds were made fresh each day, and the towels smelled lovely. We also tried the laundry service and were very happy with it. We spent three wonderful days here. The hotel staff worked with such care, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. We loved the restaurant’s delicious, distinctive dishes and well-made drinks. It deserves a Michelin star. Special thanks to the friendly waiter and the patient, flexible man and woman at reception. We leave Tanei Resort feeling grateful. If I could, I’d give it 10 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were welcomed with great service, and I could conveniently rent a bike from the hotel and pay by card. The staff were attentive and respectful throughout. The breakfast was so good, and the pool was just right for the heat. Having cocktails brought over while relaxing poolside was a treat. The quiet location away from the center was exactly what I liked, though a tuk tuk to Pub Street costs a little over a dollar. I loved this place so much I wish I’d come just for the hotel. They even put roses on the bed and in the tub, with candles, for Valentine’s.

The pool was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was fine, though nothing special. The staff were really nice and helped with everything from Circus tickets to transport to Angkor Wat. The location is good, right by the Circus and a little away from the noisy city. A tuk tuk costs just $2 each way, so getting to the center is easy.
