Treeline Urban Resort

We chose Treeline for a resort feel in the middle of town, with restaurants and services close by. It was among the more expensive hotels on our trip, but felt like a good balance. The website's design photos looked great, and the real thing lived up to them. The building is beautiful, the rooms are stunning, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I loved the dark wood and concrete, and the design and finish throughout are excellent. Our Living King Room had a shady terrace outside with a day bed that was perfect for reading. We spent a couple of afternoons at the rooftop pool. It's not huge, but never seemed crowded while we were there, and we could always find a sunbed. Breakfast has Asian and Western choices, with eggs and soups cooked to order and a self-serve buffet that varies a little each day. The buffet was the weaker part for me: the sausage and bacon could have been better quality, and there was a bit less variety than at some other hotels on our Asia trip. I understand a boutique place has to balance choice against food waste. We ate at Romiet on our last evening. The food was excellent and surprisingly well priced compared with the rest of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone after a quiet, luxurious place in the heart of Siem Reap.

The property is beautiful and in a good location, with great restaurants just across the street. It's very quiet, and the facility is immaculate, with everything first class. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were attentive and extremely kind and helpful. I'd love to come back.

We ate nearly all our dinners at Romiet, and the hotel's restaurants and brown coffee cafe were really good. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and beautifully done, right in central Siem Reap. Housekeeping did a very good job, and the staff were attentive, professional, and kind. The spa was good too, and we liked the pool area, though the water felt a little cold to us. We still swam a lot. There wasn't a dedicated yoga space. We also booked a three-day private tour with Tiger, an amazing guide. I'd definitely recommend the hotel and the tour.

The pool was long enough for laps, and sitting beside it with a drink on a hot night was a lovely way to end a day of exploring. We stayed two nights and found the rooms comfortable and the service excellent. Staff were attentive without hovering. The restaurant handled vegan and vegetarian needs well, and breakfast had plenty of variety. I'd stay again.
