I booked three nights through Expedia, but the taxi took me to the listed address and found the place closed. The phone number didn’t work either. Agoda also lists this “bed and breakfast,” but it clearly isn’t a properly operating place to stay.

We arrived a little before check-in, and it was fine that they couldn’t let us in yet. But 20 minutes after check-in time, we asked on WhatsApp when someone would be there. She said she thought someone was already on site. We told her nobody was there, and then we couldn’t reach anyone at all, by WhatsApp or phone. She read one of our later messages but didn’t reply. We said we’d have to find another room if nobody was available, and still got no answer, so we booked somewhere else. The only reply came the next day, repeating that she thought someone was there. We didn’t get our money back, and Opoodo gave us no way to report or sort out the problem. I’m glad there was at least a toilet we could use.

I’d paid through Agoda in advance, but there was no manager there. When I called to check, they said the property was full. It felt like a scam.
