Staff were helpful, but the pool wasn't clean and the area outside the hotel was diabolical. It's nowhere near a place of interest, and walking along the dirty, bumpy mud path to get anywhere put a damper on the holiday. The worst part was dealing with the owner, who was ill-mannered, arrogant and disgusting. On our first night, there was no hot water at eleven. The duty staff member was helpful and asked us to wait 15 minutes, but then the manager and owner came to explain the problem. When we asked them to do something so we could have hot water, the man refused. He said that's how they operate in Cambodia and that we could check out if we didn't like it. That ruined our holiday, and we won't return. We did get hot water the next night because we came back early, but on our last night the problem was back. The manager said their system only serves a certain number of guests, and if everyone showers before ten, they can't guarantee hot water later.

Great value for the price, with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. It's amazing and right in the center. I loved the pool area, a little slice of paradise, and I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Sihanoukville.

The photos online didn't come close to showing how good this place was. My taxi turned into a hidden alley from the airport, and suddenly there was this paradise-like hotel. It's a new luxury place, with no expense spared: the rooms are ultra-modern and incredibly comfortable, and each looks out over a beautiful pool and garden. It's away from the city center noise, but only about two minutes and $2 by tuk-tuk. The staff were genuinely interested in helping us make the most of our stay in Cambodia. They gave us plenty of tips and advice about our plans and activities, which was a breath of fresh air after many years traveling around South East Asia. I can't recommend it enough. Six stars out of five.

Thanks for a great stay, Boutique Deluxx. The hotel was amazing and luxurious, the pool was fancy, and both the rooms and breakfast were very nice. The staff were excellent and attentive.
