I'm French, and people know us for being firm critics. The restaurant was very clean, from the tables to the bright kitchen that you could see. I mention the details because cleanliness is a big issue for many restaurant owners. The dishes were tasty and generous. I recommend this restaurant.

This place needs a major refit, or to be closed and redone from top to bottom. It feels like it’s falling apart, and the staff were unfriendly. The shower was very dirty and far below standard. Only one light worked, making the room feel like a prison cell. The door wouldn’t close securely, the fan and WiFi didn’t work, and no towel was provided. Bare wires were exposed and had been replaced with an extension lead. Everything bad about a hotel seemed to be here.

Our room was at the front, but road noise didn’t disturb us. It was comfortable, with hot water in the shower and air conditioning, and the location was good.

We paid 13 USD per night for a twin room. The staff were friendly, and she let us keep our bicycles in the tool room, which made us feel they were safe.
