The location is the one thing going for this charmless love hotel. The whole building needs some renovation, from the dirty hallway carpets to the bathroom with black mold.

It’s clean and well kept inside, though the sink is a little awkward to use. Since it’s near AndongCulture Street, it’s a good place to stay if you want to connect your lodging with nearby sightseeing.

The air was really pungent, so we took refuge at Sharp Hotel, although it hadn’t been directly affected by the Andong wildfire. I’d heard it was newly remodeled and went to check it out. It was very clean and tidy, and we had a comfortable stay. My only regret was not finding indoor slippers, though maybe I just missed them.

The inside looks a bit old, but it’s nicer than most places in Seoul. The bed had an electric blanket and kept me warm, and the water came out well and was warm too. I had a good rest.
