Daecheon Pretty Pension

A comfortable stay at a price I was happy with. I’m very satisfied and think I’ll come back whenever I visit the beach. Such good value!

The pink interiors gave the rooms a warm, cozy feel, and they were spacious. I also found the bathrooms roomy, with towels, shampoo, and body wash provided. At Daemyung Pension in Boryeong, the location is convenient, about a three-minute walk from Daecheon Beach, and the price felt like good value. The kitchen had what I needed for simple meals, including a rice cooker, microwave, and cooking utensils. The large parking area and clean barbecue space stood out, and there’s a pine forest path, foot volleyball court, and basketball court next door. It seems well suited to walks or company retreats. I’d recommend it if you’re after a quiet, comfortable place near the beach.

I stayed at Daemyung Pension while visiting Daecheon ahead of an octopus fishing trip. The pension is only three minutes from Daecheon Beach, and its prices are clear and affordable compared with others nearby. It felt like great value, and I’d like to return next time.

The floors and bedding were dirty, though I understand that may come with the local conditions. The place was comfortable enough just for sleeping. I picked it because it had cooking facilities, but with so many good hotels around, I might choose a hotel instead.
