The room was a pleasant surprise: clean, bright, warm, and spacious enough for our toddler to play, eat, and watch TV. The small kitchen area and roomy bathroom were spotless, and the hot water worked well. The floor heating gave us a jimjilbang feel. The bedroom's wallpaper reminded me of my grandma's house, but it was clean and cozy, and the little towels smelled fresh. There were plenty of them, too. We ended up here after our first hotel cancelled. We were travelling with other families over Labour Day, when the other hotels were sold out, so I booked the last room at Tamra Gio. At check-in, communication was a little difficult because the elderly woman was off shift. The on-shift staff member, who could speak Chinese, was there from 3 pm until around 8 or 9 pm. The lobby looked old and unlike a typical hotel lobby, though it seemed familiar from my time in China. It had a hot and cold water dispenser, which was very handy. I'm a Singaporean mum travelling with my husband, friends, and our 3-year-old, so we had some expectations about where to stay. This room worked out well. I'd choose it again if we return to Jeju.

The bathroom was moldy, the room was noisy, and I found pubic hair on the bed. It felt more like a love hotel than anything else.
The owner is really friendly, and the place is comfortable and convenient in the city center. It has a kitchen and washing machine, which made it a good fit for our four-day, three-night stay. It's become one of my favorite places to stay when I visit Jeju Island.
The location was great, and there was a washing machine and kitchen counter, but the interior felt like an old condo and needed repairs. There was mold, we only got two towels per person, and the toothbrushes were very poor quality.
For a residence, Tamla Geo has reasonable prices and good facilities. The rooms are clean and come with kitchen utensils and a washing machine, so it should suit both travelers and people on longer business stays. There's a Twosome Place cafe downstairs on the first floor. If you're just staying overnight, I'd suggest a nearby hotel instead.
