Sorang

The rooftop pool was beautiful from daytime sunshine all the way through sunset and into the night. Looking out at the sky and sea from there soothed me after the strain of city life. I love water activities and come to the sea every summer, but Sorong felt special compared with anywhere else I’ve been. The place was clean and cozy, with a warmth I haven’t found in typical hotels or guesthouses. I think I’ll remember it for a long time, and I can’t help wanting to return next year and in the years after that. It felt like a little paradise.

Waking up to the ocean beyond the window made the morning feel special. The room was warm and spacious, and I felt at ease as soon as I came in. I still remember my husband, child, and me laughing and rolling around together on the soft bed. Breakfast was carefully prepared, and playing and laughing with my child in the pool became one of my favorite memories from the trip. We were traveling as a family, so choosing the right place mattered a lot, and I’m glad we picked Sorang Pension. It gave us a comfortable space, a beautiful view, and the sound of our family laughing. My day on Udo was special because of this stay. I’d come back without hesitation 🌊✨

I’ve visited Udo Island many times, but this was my first stay at Sorang. I spent a lot of time looking for a place for my girlfriend’s first trip, and we were completely satisfied with our choice. The room was very clean and carefully designed, which she especially loved. And the view was breathtaking. I definitely want to return.

The big window made the sunset beautiful right from check-in, and the soft bedding and large TV with Netflix made it easy to lounge around. There was even a bathtub for a relaxing soak, and a styler so my clothes felt soft and fluffy the next day. I went to Udo Sorang for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s right by the port, and Haumokdong Port is accessible from Jongdal and Seongsan Ports. For breakfast, the mother-in-law made delicious homemade top shell porridge, so be sure to request it. Thanks to Udo Sorang, this became one of my best memories of Udo. I highly recommend it as a place to stay.
