The Lucete Hotel

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the cleanliness was pretty good. It seems the owner also runs a convenience store. If nobody’s at the lobby, go over there and ask them to check you in. I waited around for ages before figuring that out, lol.

The room was bigger than I expected, which was nice, though there wasn’t much for cooking. Definitely bring a power strip if you stay here, because there’s nowhere to charge your phone. After a pleasant trip, I was trying to relax when I was told to park again because the car was crooked in the lot. I went out, and then they called asking me to move out, apparently not realizing I was a guest. They wanted to check on me.

The room itself was okay and looked clean at first, but there were several hairs on the sheets, so I suspected they hadn’t been changed. Then I found a cockroach. I took a photo and went to reception. The woman raised her voice and said, “Where is there a place without cockroaches?” I asked her to apologize and move me to another room, but she replied, “They’re all pretty much the same... You should have gone to a nice hotel.” Her response was shocking. Even if a place is cheap, clean bedding and pest control are basic things an accommodation should handle. If the sanitation department inspected conditions like this, I understand there could be fines. Please at least take care of the basics.

The owner(?) was friendly, and the place was clean. Having a convenience store connected downstairs was handy. The parking lot is small, but they guided us from in front of the hotel, so we had no trouble.
