57 Myeongdong Hostel

The room and shower/toilet were both small, and the bathroom got wet after a shower. Without the ventilators the room felt stuffy, but they were loud and still too weak to clear the steam. I also got bitten by mosquitoes in the room. For a hostel, the price and location are good, so I didn’t expect too much. Still, better ventilation would help. There’s a lot nearby to eat, and the airport bus stop is close. The staff were friendly, and tea and coffee were available all day, with breakfast and washing machines free as well.

The staff were lovely and helped me track down my iPad after I left it on the train. They made everything easy, and we really enjoyed the stay. The location was handy for trains, subways and buses, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cereal, toast, fruit, salad and hot food. The small rooms were clean and air conditioned, which was much appreciated during Seoul’s recent heat wave. Having our own bathroom was very convenient too. I’d happily recommend the hostel and hope to return.

It was quiet, clean and private, with a bathroom of its own, a lift, and a great location. The bed was a little hard, and one person fits better than two, but I was happy enough.

The service was very good, and English was no problem. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the location was great. I stayed about a week, and the rooms worked perfectly for what this place is.
