Amazon Guesthouse - Hostel

The owner was good, but the rules were so strict, like being in the army, and I didn’t feel comfortable. There’s a terrace, but it’s forbidden after 10pm, like a military marshal. The building is very old. The kitchen is underground, smells musty, and has no kettle for hot water. The bathrooms are two shared spaces, with only glass barriers separating the sections. They aren’t suitable for groups, and you have to wait to use them. The washing machine is noisy. It’s near Hamilton hotel, about a 7-minute walk. I felt upset about staying there.

Itaewon is a really nice area to stay in, and there’s a nice coffee and cookie place nearby. For the price, the accommodation was very decent. No complaints.

The owner is so flexible, kind, and responsive. I’ve never met a guesthouse owner who was this helpful. The rooms speak for themselves in my pictures. I’ll stay here again and bring my crew along. Highly recommended.

I stayed in the girls dorm, and it had AC, always a bonus. The place has a peaceful, homely feel, helped by two cute dogs, and the staff are super helpful. It’s modern and clean, in a great Seoul area for entertainment, food, and bars, with the station just a short walk away. Definitely recommend this guesthouse.
