We had to spend almost 10 hours in a hot, stuffy room after the power went out in the middle of the night. With no staff there and no answer at the contact number, we called Trip.com several times before a young staff member arrived around 10 a.m. and fixed it. It was a complete nightmare. Trip.com responded and eventually helped us move to another hotel and request a refund. Earlier, we’d found three cockroaches, one in the bathroom, one by the bed, and another in the middle of the night. My wife was terrified, and I had to handle each one. When we asked for a room change, the reply was blunt and dismissive: “No, you stay.” It felt rude and unhelpful, perhaps because of a language barrier, but that was still unacceptable. Service, cleanliness, and safety would get zero out of five if I could. I can’t recommend the place unless there are major improvements. The automated check-in and checkout meant we didn’t interact with staff during the stay. That may suit some people, but it was a real problem when we needed help. The room was a decent size with a queen bed, though it had no wardrobe. There’s a water dispenser, laundry, microwave, pantry, and temporary luggage storage. Susaek Station is about a five-minute walk away, with a few small shops and a CU convenience store across the street. Getting to central Seoul takes around 30 to 45 minutes each way by public transport. For this location, the price is relatively reasonable. I’d rate access 4 out of 5.
