The host was so caring and helpful, and the place was clean, tidy and safe. I made friends at the hostel who I'm still in touch with today, and staying there was one of the highlights of my Korea trip. I was there on a solo trip in 2022, and would absolutely recommend it to other solo travelers. It's in a great spot, so getting around is easy. One small thing: you have to wash your own sheets. The washing machine and cleaning supplies are available, and the host can show you how to use them.

We came for a week while searching for highly rated serviced apartments, but ended up staying here for two months. Staying with a great host and meeting all kinds of people in a clean, positive, very social setting was probably the best way to experience Seoul.

The host was friendly and helpful, and I met some extraordinary roommates. I enjoyed that part of the stay, but I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There's no maid. Some students do a bit of cleaning now and then, but it's barely enough. Sheets aren't changed unless you ask, and the students aren't even there every day. The bathroom was the worst. It looked like nobody had cleaned it in ages, and there were spiderwebs all around the washing machine. The rest of the place was no better: cockroaches wandered around, and with no seal along the bottom of the walls, bugs could build nests in the holes. A dead fly sat in the fridge for a month without anyone cleaning it. I'm sure it's still there now. The place can be fun, but the dirt was just too much. If you're happy to wash your face in a muddy sink, this might be for you.

Amazing place with a family feel and beautiful staff! The owner often cooks for guests, and those were the best meals I've had in Korea so far. Totally recommend it.
