I booked one night with Hilton points and was pleasantly surprised to get upgraded to a Premier room. The staff’s English was very good, and the service was the best I’ve had at a hotel. They made everything easy. The room had a lovely river view, a very comfortable bed, and a great shower. The whole property feels luxurious, from the shared spaces to the small details. I appreciated the complimentary chocolates and bottled water, too. Breakfast was the one letdown. I’d been hoping for a buffet, but was told my booking only came with a breakfast credit at one of the lobby restaurants. The meal itself wasn’t bad, but I was disappointed, especially after recently getting a complimentary buffet breakfast at a Hilton in Manhattan when I used points there. A breakfast buffet matters a lot to me as part of a hotel stay, particularly in Asia, which is why I gave this four stars. Even so, I had a very good stay, and the service really stood out.

The executive lounge was a highlight, with lovely views and delicious dinner, and the reception, bell service, room, and lounge teams all gave exceptional service. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Breakfast could be better, though. I was also surprised to learn that guests can’t use amenities like the sauna after checking out before a flight. I understand that it’s a policy, and I respect it, since that may be common at some Korean hotels. I had a wonderful stay at Conrad Seoul.

Our son’s birthday became a really meaningful family memory thanks to Jin, the dining coordinator. He arranged a special platter and made the celebration feel personal, joyful, and heartfelt. From our first day, he went well beyond what we expected to make sure our family was cared for, and he also suggested some lovely places to visit around Seoul that made the trip better. Laura, Stella, and Jackson were just as warm and professional. Every interaction with the dining team felt sincere, attentive, and welcoming. The Conrad is beautiful, but it was the people, especially this team, who made our stay unforgettable. We left feeling celebrated and looked after, and already want to return. Thank you for making it so special.

The top-floor bar and executive lounge were especially nice, and the rooms and views were exquisite. Service was incredibly attentive, with the kind of five-star Korean hospitality I’ve come to expect, and staff spoke all sorts of languages. My small deductions are for breakfast: it felt too sparse in the executive lounge and too industrial downstairs in the large restaurant. The gym and pool were also quite busy, as they’re shared with local members. Still, I had an excellent stay.

They were both warm, attentive, and professional, which made the whole stay more enjoyable. Shella’s cocktails were particularly impressive, beautifully made and absolutely outstanding.
