I felt completely safe and looked after as a solo woman traveling. The other guests were respectful, and the host seemed to be at the front desk most days, ready to help. Even late at night, the shower was clean and dry. I once got up very late and saw a staff member scrubbing the bathroom on her hands and knees. The dorm bed curtains were great for keeping other people from waking me. It felt luxurious, and I’d return even if the price went up.

I spent a week here and had a great stay. The hostel is near Hongda’s center and the train, but sits on a quiet street, so nights were peaceful. The rooms, common area, and rooftop were all comfortable and up to a high standard. I’d recommend it for a Seoul visit.

The living room was my favorite, I met so many lovely people there and felt more at home than at home. The travelers were friendly, the space was super clean, and the equipment was great. Dean is easily the nicest and friendliest hostel host I’ve met. I loved staying here and will definitely come back. Please book it, you won’t regret it!

The hostel was probably the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, and the breakfast items were always ready and well stocked. It’s in a great spot for anyone who likes going out around busy Hongdae. Dean was a great host and helped me through an unusual, difficult issue I had with another person in my dorm.
