For our first two nights, the condition of the room was so unacceptable that we booked another hotel, and we weren’t refunded. We got a different room for the other four nights. It had somewhat less mould, but was still in very poor shape. The rooms were extremely dirty, with blood stains on the blankets, mould everywhere, and cockroaches. The bathroom smelled like sewage, and the manager didn’t seem to care about the guesthouse’s condition. The whole place looks old, neglected, and dirty, and badly needs a full refurbishment. The surrounding area looks like a rubbish dump too. I wouldn’t want to stay here on a Seoul vacation. DO NOT BOOK!!

The room was small and hadn’t been cleaned when we checked in. The building only had a loaf of bread for breakfast, and we couldn’t get water from the dispenser. When we asked staff, they said it was coming, but when we checked again that night, someone else gave us the same answer.

A guy on staff, I think he was housekeeping, was very rude. He always wore a cap and acted like the guesthouse was his own home. We were having ramyeon in the kitchen at lunchtime when he came in a few minutes later to make his own lunch. He didn’t say anything to us, but acted angry, throwing and banging things around. I really don’t know why he behaved like that. If guests aren’t allowed to use the kitchen, they should simply say so. The website says the facilities, including the kitchen, are for all guests.

The location is the one thing it has going for it. The room was in such poor condition that I wouldn’t even bother taking photos.
