My room on the 15th floor was quiet, and I was happy that it got cleaned every day. It’s just a five minute walk to Seoul Metro Bulgang station, in a nice location. The room wasn’t very big, but it was comfortable, and the bathtub came with soap and shampoo that smelled nice. Netflix and unlimited YouTube were there to enjoy too.

My wife booked this thinking it was a great deal, but we both got sick before leaving, and the room was so bad that she cleaned the bathroom herself. There was dust on the lights, mold everywhere, and a clogged sink. We asked for fresh towels several times, but they either never arrived or we were told there were none. The tub had no curtain and wasn’t against a wall, so water splashed all over when we showered. One time a cleaner did come, they threw out my toothbrush. We stayed only because we didn’t want to go out into the December cold to search for somewhere else and hope it was cleaner.

This is a love hotel, not a place for families or travelers. The managers were rude and had no manners.

I left after one night of the four nights I’d planned, and eventually got a refund. For a weekend Deluxe Room at 150,000 KRW, I’d urge people to spend a little more on a proper hotel. Even allowing for the weekend rate, this place wasn’t worth the price. It was a chaotic, exhausting stay, and I can’t recommend it. The room was dirty and the facilities were badly worn. The sink was cracked, the walls were dented and scuffed, and dust had piled up in the corners. Under the table and inside the drawers hadn’t been cleaned. Two of the three outlets didn’t work, nor did the air conditioner. The large bathtub had a loose faucet that felt ready to fall apart. When I first tried to shower, water came from the lower faucet but not the showerhead, so I called the front desk. The staff dismissed the problem, saying they’d checked the room before check-in, asking what I wanted them to do, and asking if I expected them to come up. I insisted, and they eventually fixed the shower. Given the filth and poor condition, I asked to change rooms or get a refund, but was told refunds weren’t possible. A different staff member said the next morning that a refund was possible. If I’d been told that in the first place, I wouldn’t have wasted my time here.
