The room itself needs some attention. Our floor boards had gaps, the table wobbled, and there was oxidation on the rain shower head. Still, we had an enjoyable stay, and the rooms were spacious, with utensils and floor heating. Staff were generally helpful. On our first day, we had trouble booking a taxi, and someone helped us arrange one and carry our luggage down the stairs to reception. I didn’t get his name. Staff could generally understand English, which was a plus. There’s a sauna, gym, and swimming pool, and the location is close to a bus stop and within walking distance of City Hall. I’d recommend the place.

We left disappointed, especially with the reception staff’s attitude during check-in on 23rd dec 2025. Our room wasn’t given until after 3 pm. We had requested early check-in by email and arrived with two 7-year-olds after a long international flight, but the staff were very discourteous and unwilling to accommodate us. They gave early check-in to two people ahead of us, neither of whom was Indian, and it began to feel discriminatory, which was not okay. The room cleaning also fell short. After the supposed cleanup each day, I still found ounces of dust. Breakfast was modest, and the exact same menu was served two days in a row, making us seriously question how fresh the food was.

Our two-bedroom setup worked really well, especially with a full kitchen and washing machine/dryer. The housekeeping lady was particularly helpful and made sure our needs were met. There’s also a swimming pool, though you need a swimming cap, which they sell. GwangHwaMun, MyeongDong, NamDaeMun, and Seoul station are all about a 10-15 minute walk away, but there isn’t much within a minute or two of the hotel. Many nearby restaurants were closed on Sundays. We stayed in Dec-Jan, and the room was far too hot, around 25-26 celcius even with the heating off. We had to open the windows to let cold air in.

The rooms have great equipment, including a fridge that’s much better than a small minibar. We did laundry a few times, and the gym was good enough while traveling. Staff were friendly, and the location is handy for myeondong and namsam. Seoul station, with KTX and the airport train, is a 10-15 minute walk. The price seemed reasonable for the location and amenities.
