My week there made it easy to see why it feels like a home base for a trip around Korea. The host was kind and helpful, and on weekdays she cooked Korean breakfast for everyone. It was different each day. The room was clean and the house rules were clearly explained. It seemed well suited to families with children, who can learn a lot by chatting with other guests around the dinner table.

Haha was so sweet and welcoming, and kindly checked us in after the stated check-in time. Breakfast was free, too. The place is a bit dated overall and wasn't always fully supplied, but it’s a good fit if you’re after a more local experience.

Haha makes really delicious traditional Korean breakfasts. The place itself is clean and cozy, and it’s in a very convenient location. If you’re after a nice Korean experience, this is a great place.

There’s lots of greenery around, and it’s a pretty quiet spot, which made it a nice place to come back to after a long trip. The guesthouse was clean and pleasant. Guests can use two kitchens, with a fridge, microwave, and mini stove.

This was my most horrendous Airbnb experience. The guesthouse looked lovely online, but because Haha had double booked, we were given a different room. She didn’t tell us she planned to move our luggage when the original room became available. When we got back at night after exploring the city, other guests were in our room. Our bags had been moved, but our passports and money were still in the locker with the new guests. We retrieved our valuables after apologizing to them. Early the next morning, Haha woke us by slamming the door and shouting that we shouldn’t have disturbed the other guests. She didn’t give us time to get dressed. Once she calmed down, she called Airbnb support to mediate. After hearing both sides, they sided against the host. After I posted this review, Haha messaged again, accusing me and my guest of arriving at the hostel intoxicated. Airbnb reviewed the CCTV footage and confirmed that wasn’t the case.
