The location made getting around Seoul easy, with the subway station and Gyeongbokgung Palace close by. Our family of four had a wonderful, memorable stay at Hanok 24 Guesthouse and loved the authentic traditional style. It gave us a feel for old Korean living, while the recently built house still had the modern comforts we needed. We had plenty of room thanks to the two separate bedrooms, full kitchen, and combined living and dining area. The front yard was our favorite spot. On sunny days we sat with coffee, and when it rained, watching it fall from the edge of the roof had its own charm. The host was warm, friendly, and so helpful throughout our stay.

Staying in this beautiful, clean house was a pleasure. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and it was easy to get around Seoul from here. The traditional Korean hanok has such an exotic feel. I’ve traveled to more than 20 countries, and Hanok 24 guesthouse is one of the best I’ve stayed in.

Seochon has plenty of distinctive, trendy shops and restaurants, and the location is good. The place itself is a cozy traditional Hanok where you can experience living in a Korean building of this style. You might be surprised by how beautiful it is. It’s a little expensive, honestly, but worth the price. The staff are kind, speak English fluently, and can offer useful advice for your trip around Korea.

If you want a special stay in Korea that gives you a feel for traditional culture, this hostel would be a great choice. Finding traditional architecture in Seoul is pretty hard, unlike in many European countries. Plenty of people love the city's modern, cyberpunk side, but this is well worth visiting even if you're Korean.
