Harujae Myeongdong

The location and service were decent, and that was about the only good part. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, with nowhere to open a suitcase. The bathroom was almost bigger than the sleeping area, but the shower points toward the door, so the entrance gets wet. And hot water was hardly ever available. There was no ventilation or air purifier, so the air felt stale and dusty. The stairs were already narrow, and there was no elevator. A strange luggage contraption took up some of the stair space, and it only worked for a cabin sized case. With a normal suitcase, I had to somehow lift it over my head. For a cheap motel, I could maybe accept that, but the price was close to a proper room at Lotte or ibdis. There was no refund or option to cancel the stay.

We were three people with lots of luggage, so the room felt a bit small. Still, it was nice and worked well for a stay where you mainly need a place to sleep. The self check-in was efficient, and basic supplies like tissues and towels were ready to pick up on the second floor. They also had umbrellas available, which was a huge help when it rained and we didn't have one. Getting around was easy, with buses and the subway nearby, and Myeongdong Street was a 12-13 minute walk away. There were plenty of places to eat around the area, too.
