The rooms are roomy, with heated floors, a spacious bathroom, and a vanity table with a mirror. They handled the noise from the surrounding area well, so the room stayed fairly quiet. There’s no wardrobe, just two hangers and a wall hook, and all the rooms have double beds, so twin beds aren’t an option. Bathroom items aren’t supplied, but you can buy them from a vending machine. The hotel sits among restaurants that stay open until 5 a.m. and is very close to Jonggak station and the airport bus stop. Myeongdong is about a 20-minute walk, and Cheonggyicheon river is nearby. The entrance is down a small lane where there are lots of smokers. Reception is quite small, with a coffee machine, an ice machine, and bottled water. After checkout, you can leave luggage in a shared area for a few hours, though they won’t be responsible if anything goes missing.

The room felt cramped for two people with two large suitcases. They did have toiletries, a hair dryer, and hair straighteners, and the heated floor was a nice extra. The towels, though, were small and stained, the pillows were really thin, and we found pubic hairs on the sheet covers. Getting to the hotel means walking down a narrow alley where smokers were always gathered, with cigarette butts all over the ground. It seems mainly set up for couples and short or hourly stays.

I booked through booking.com, then the hotel charged me an extra $70 because of an error on their end.
