Honesty Station

The room was small but clean, with strong WiFi, and the place is close to bus stops and train stations. There was free food, including noodles, ramen, milk, juices, bananas, coffee, and tea. You could cook ham and eggs, and free laundry was available with soap and fabric softener. There was also an iron and ironing board. The owner and manager Gerry or Sungmin(Korean name) was an excellent host. He does everything around the place and was very helpful with what we needed to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. Great job, Gerry. We'll come back if South Korea is on our itinerary again.

The staff were quick to respond and happy to help, which I appreciated. The room was decent, though the desk setup could use a better chair since this one had no back support. It’s near Chungjeong and Ahyeon stations, but tucked off the main routes and can feel deserted after dark. I knew there wasn’t an elevator, but the stairs were still really steep. For this price, go in knowing it’s basically a gosiwon: no natural light and very thin walls. If you understand what you’re booking, it should be fine.

The rooms are on the small side, but that didn’t bother me since I was out exploring Seoul most of the time. They were spotless, and the shower was great. The place feels brand new, and manager Jerry was so friendly and ready to help. There’s a lovely, roomy kitchen and lounge upstairs with laundry, snacks, utensils, coffee, and breakfast supplies. It’s all available around the clock, which made it easy to grab something before heading out. Buses and the metro are close by, and the airport bus stop is a five-minute walk away. Really good value for the price. I’d stay here again on my next trip to Korea.

Jerry was attentive and easy to reach, and the common room had a welcoming feel. There were free basics like bread, ham, cheese, juice, milk, and coffee, plus a washer and dryer. Wi-Fi worked in both the rooms and shared space. The common room TV had no English channels. The location is excellent, close to what you need, and the small rooms are laid out thoughtfully. Just know there’s no elevator and no TV in the rooms. It’s a cozy, friendly place in a handy spot.
