HOTEL FORESTAR Sinchon

This was the worst reception service we've ever experienced, and we were badly let down by how they handled the problem. We checked into a dirty room that smelled strongly of mold and mustiness. The blankets and sheets were unclean, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. The first two receptionists offered to move us, but the second room was dirty too. We asked for a full refund because of the cleanliness, and they told us to contact the agency ourselves, without helping us. Then another manager arrived and made things worse. He wore a red jacket, with no uniform or name tag. He first said his name was Mr. Choi, then, when we asked again, said Mr. ABC. He communicated rudely and told us “MOVE” while other guests were queuing, instead of politely asking us to step aside. He said it was fine to leave a 1-star review, and repeated before we left that they didn't care if we did. He also said the hotel was 8 years old, so it was understandable if the room wasn't clean, and that anyone wanting a clean room should book a 5-star hotel. That reasoning was ridiculous. He then told us, “Get out of the hotel, we don’t want you to be here.” We hadn't broken any rules, and the problem still hadn't been resolved, so he had no right to say that. This happened on 12 September 2025, around 11 PM. We hope the owner reviews the case seriously and takes action promptly.
