There’s a convenience store on the first floor, and the hotel is close to several subway lines. Airport limousine line 6015 stops right outside. Another option is subway line 1 to Jongno 3 station, then about a 1-kilometer walk via the skywalk. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the building looks old, it’s been renovated well. Breakfast has Korean and Western choices, but there isn’t a huge selection. You can hear street noise since the hotel isn’t soundproof.

We had plenty of room, and it was very clean, which we appreciated. The temperature was the problem: it got uncomfortably warm at night even with the windows open. Staff said the AC stays off because some guests find it too cold. Individual temperature controls would make it easier for everyone to be comfortable. The front desk could also be more welcoming. The staff came across as curt, and that affected our stay.

For our South Korea holiday, this was a comfortable, very clean place to stay. The staff spoke English and were helpful, and the metro was within walking distance, which made getting around easy. We’ll stay here again next time.

The room and location were good, but breakfast was like a rugby scrum. We waited ages in line for a table, the staff seemed rude and harassed, and one or both coffee machines were out of order several times during breakfast. Getting a lift also meant an eternity of waiting. I’m sure Seoul has better hotels.

The location was superb, with the subway station just a minute’s walk away. There were three of us with three extra-large suitcases, and the big room fit everything. I’d stay here again when I’m back in Seoul.
