The breakfast eggs make a nice start to the day and set this place apart from others. Staff are friendly and helpful, and both the bathrooms and rooms are very clean. The bathrooms were spotless and mold-free, while the rooms felt spacious and had lots of windows. If you’re looking for a guesthouse in Seoul, I’d recommend this one.
I liked the spacious dining area, and the room was roomy too. The bed was very nice, with a warm blanket. Breakfast includes eggs, bread, and cereal, though the milk and juice didn’t seem very fresh. They clear everything at 10am sharp, and after 10pm there’s nothing except coffee and tea.
Very good for the price, and they respect your privacy. The room was very clean, with good beds and a good bathroom. Extra towels are available if you ask, and breakfast is simple, just toast, jam, and eggs, but you can always eat elsewhere. It’s near Sangwangsimni metro station. They ask for a 20000 won deposit, which is returned at checkout.
The place looks clean and quiet, and the shared areas are well managed. They don’t clean the room every day, which is a drawback. If you come for breakfast around or after 9am, there’s almost nothing left. Some other guests take lots of eggs and toast, and the food isn’t refilled quickly, which is awkward and left a poor impression.
The people looking after the place were friendly and hospitable, and the location was ideal, about 100 m from sangwangsimni station with small eateries nearby. I stayed two separate nights, first after landing in Seoul and later after returning from sokcho. The rooms and toilets were spacious, with adjustable wall and floor heating and a hot water bath. The TV had a great channel selection, including RA-ed ones, lol, though most were in Korean. Reception and the dining area are on the sixth floor. Breakfast had coffee, tea, cereal, jam, bread, eggs, and butter. You could cook too, with basics like oil, salt, sugar, and pepper provided.
