INN The City Myeongdong

The location suited us perfectly for visiting the famous shopping area and night markets, and we could easily walk to them. Getting there was straightforward too: it’s just over 200 meters from Chungmuro station, exit 7, after the airport express train and a three-stop metro ride. Check-in was simple, and we got into the room without any trouble. It was a standard hotel room with a kitchenette and washing machine, which was really useful for laundry. I couldn't work out the lights at first until I found the master switch by the door. The stovetop wouldn't heat the way I wanted, so I used the microwave instead. I loved the stay and would come back.

We liked the location most. Chungmuro station is nearby, the airport limousine buses 6001 and 6015 are easy to reach and cost 17000 won per person, and there are lots of places to eat. CS25 stores are right downstairs. We could walk to Myeongdong, Seoul Station, and nearby shopping areas. Staff replied to my Agoda questions quickly. The modern room had narrow walking space, and the shower flow was slow, so showers took longer. There was only one pillow per guest, and our request for an extra was turned down. The gym has good equipment and space, and staff replenished our tissue. We also appreciated being allowed to use the luggage scale at a nearby branch.

Right by the main street, so there are plenty of shops and street food nearby. The place is clean and feels new, and the service was good. One of the best places I've stayed in Seoul. Highly recommend it.

I keep trying to think of a downside, but I'm coming up blank, lol. The city views are nice, the rooms are simple and clean, and the bathrooms are fantastic. They also give you clean towels. Really great stay, 5/5!
