The location was convenient, the metro was easy to reach, and the staff were friendly. Still, after four nights costing over $260, we were unhappy with the room. It was small, the furniture was old, and the sink was beside the bed instead of in the bathroom. The wallpaper was torn and marked with drawings; the chair was scratched and ripped; the plug was loose; the bedside table was broken; and the sheets had stains. There was no bidet or cabinet for our bags, and the air conditioner was dusty. The room just felt off. We explained the problems and asked to move, but staff said the hotel was full and did nothing. It was worse than a motel and didn’t deserve a star.

They say check-in is at 3 p.m., but that may not be when you actually get your room. Rooms are rented out during the day for three or four hours, and then they’ll say they’re fixing them, mostly the toilets, so you have to wait. When you finally get in, the room may be the one used by those couples. They spend only about 10 minutes cleaning between daytime guests. Honestly, this place doesn’t deserve even one star. Find somewhere else to stay.
The room was clean, and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. There are lots of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s within walking distance of the Jongno 3(sam) ga metro and bus station.
The room was poorly maintained and dirty, and they only supplied hand towels, which aren’t suitable for showering. The front desk staff were unpleasant. We’d paid for five nights but left after two. Just terrible.
This is a small, no-frills hotel, but the location does a lot for it. There are stores, restaurants, and cafes all around, and the metro is directly across the street so you can get anywhere. A small balcony looked out over a busy corner with lots of foot traffic. The rooms are small, yet mine had a surprisingly large bathtub. If you’re staying five days, a Climate Card was about $10 USD. You can buy one at the 7/11 a block away and load it in the subway station. Location is everything here.
