Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Gangnam

Josun Palace is the best hotel I’ve stayed in, and its service is the best I’ve experienced. I tend to look for flaws even in highly rated places, partly because of a chronic condition, but I couldn’t find anything here to fault. Breakfast was generous, with a huge, beautifully arranged selection. I avoid gluten and lactose, so I had fewer options, but the quality and care still came through and I enjoyed it. The service was flawless throughout. My room was spacious, with a proper walk-in closet and a stunning bathroom. I kept trying to spot something wrong and couldn’t. Highly recommended as a luxury hotel and a rare place where everything just works.

The Josun Palace team turned a stressful winter business trip into a warm memory. I was there with my husband for his work and spent most of my time with our 3-year-old son. The service, location, and spacious rooms were all impeccable. If I could give more than five stars, I would. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at. When my son bumped his head and cut his ear on our second night, I called asking for an ice pack. Staff came right away with a care kit containing iodine, gauze, bandages, and healing cream. Manager Mandy Lee checked on us and offered bed guards, and they gave my son a big "Ryan" lion mascot to cheer him up. The following day he suddenly had a high fever. I asked for a pediatrician recommendation, and the team had the information ready in 10 minutes. A staff member, Aiden Kim, even walked us to the clinic. I’m so grateful for the genuine care we received. The team were the real MVPs of this eventful trip. If you’re visiting Seoul, make this your first choice!

The facilities were clean and luxurious, the service was good, and the heating kept things comfortable through the winter. The parking staff on the first floor and the lobby staff on the 25th floor were professional and very friendly. One downside was the breakfast restaurant. A female staff member who looked to be in her 30s had a poor attitude, including ignoring instructions from the reception desk staff.

The view from my room was incredible, and the staff and facilities were gorgeous. They treated me like royalty. Compared with luxury hotels in the US, this place feels amazing and worth every dollar. I only gave the location four stars because it’s in Gangnam, while most of the places I spent time were outside the area. That’s just my own experience.
