Check-in went smoothly, and they let us leave our bags since we got there about an hour early. The room is pretty small, and the shower was the biggest hassle. The bottom part wouldn’t hold the water, and it only worked about half the time, even when we shifted the door a little to stop leaks. Water got everywhere, so we had to be careful each time we showered to avoid causing a problem. They didn’t provide slippers, so we had to buy our own, which was surprising in an Asian country. The hotel seemed to be aiming for a modern feel, but it didn’t quite work for me. I’d rather stay somewhere a bit more traditional. I personally wouldn’t return, mainly because of the shower. The nearest train station was about a seven-minute walk away.

The room was new and clean, with a layout that was really well designed. Getting around was a bit less convenient, since it’s a long walk from the station and there aren’t any convenience stores nearby.

The brunch downstairs was tasty and healthy, and the place itself was clean. Getting into the city center takes a bit of time, though, and check-in ran an hour late.

This was my second stay, from Saturday to Monday, with breakfast included. The room was clean and the location was okay, though the rubbish piled at the street corner meant you could smell it before you even reached the street. There was nowhere to hang towels or clothes in the shower, so they had to stay outside. The bigger problem came Monday morning: the restaurant was closed, so I couldn't get the breakfast included with my stay. Nobody mentioned this at check-in; I was just handed a breakfast card. When I asked reception after the restaurant turned me away, the staff member only said it was closed Mondays and then stared at me without saying anything. I later noticed the poster and card said non-refundable. What a joke 😂
