K-POP Hotel Seoul Tower

For about $50, the convenience of being near Seoul Station works for me. This feels more like a hostel than a three-star hotel, and that's fine for what it is. The room is small but has the basics, including a private bathroom, hair dryer, TV, internet, and a cozy spot. I found the bed comfortable enough, and there's a basement space for eating or doing laundry. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist was friendly. I don't have complaints at that price, and I'd choose it again for a quick night or a layover. I don't get the one-star reviews. Thanks for having us.

It's a handy budget spot for a short stay, especially if you just need somewhere to sleep before heading out. We had a comfortable bed, friendly and polite staff, and an easy check-in. There are luggage storage and lockers, a little cafeteria, and both American and Korean outlets in our room. Namdaemun Market is very close, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and coffee nearby. Hoehyeon station is next door, Seoul Station exit 8 is a seven-minute walk, and the Seoul Station outlet takes about 13 minutes on foot. The downside is the rooms are small, and some interiors haven't been updated, so you may get an old or only partly updated room. The shower head was a bit rusty, moldy, or damaged, so I didn't shower and would look elsewhere if having a shower matters to you. Towels are only hand towel size, and some rooms might not be cleaned thoroughly, which makes you wonder if the sheets are changed properly. The AC works but starts slowly. Translating the controls and screen might help you choose the right mode. It's a decent place if you're on a budget and don't need much space.

For the price and location, I think it's worth it. The rooms are tiny, but that's about what you'd expect at this rate. Mine had a bed, TV, and WC. There's a small basement cafeteria, plus a washing machine, refrigerator, coffee machine, and luggage lockers. Check-in was simple, the key was on a table with my name tag since nobody was there. Leaving was just as easy, I dropped the key in the box.

It's close to Seoul station, but the room had no blanket and the toilet smelled like a broken pump. That odor spread through the whole room and didn't feel healthy. Cleaning supplies were left all over outside the room, and the stairs are so steep they're not suitable for luggage.
