Lexy Hotel

The rooms are spacious enough and clean.

Really nice place.

The price is a real plus in this part of Gangnam, where nearby hotels cost a lot more. Lexy Hotel (Motel) is also easy to reach on foot from both Yeoksam Station and Gangnam Station. The room was clean, and the round bathtub made for a fun soak. The bed and bedding were softer than I expected, and I slept well. Some rooms do feel a little dated, with dim lighting, and the heating seemed weak in winter, especially early in the morning. I also wish the beds had a mat. The staff were generally friendly. A good fit for a business trip or a short break if location, cleanliness, and value matter more than flashy new facilities.

We were four young women trying to check in at dawn, and the front desk staff member was extremely rude. Every time we asked something, she cut us off with, "No, it's all written down." I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking she might just be tired, but then she smiled at the men waiting behind us. It made me feel awful. We had probably paid extra for a large room, so I couldn't understand why we were treated that way. The worst.
