The location is awesome, and I’d stay here again. It’s a nice independent hotel; the room felt a little old, but it was fine. You need to take the stairs to get to the top floor, though a nice Uzbek gentleman helped me with them.

The room was a good size, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The hallway and stair carpets were badly stained, and black, mold-like stuff was coming out of the AC in my room. There wasn’t a full-length mirror, and the electrical outlet was an extension cord. The breaker tripped, so I had to ask staff to switch it back on. There’s an elevator for only two floors, then you have to climb extremely steep stairs, which is a real problem with luggage. Unfortunately, the hotel is in poor condition.

I ended up here at very short notice after my other accommodation fell through, and had a really comfortable stay. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Sunnat was especially kind and generous, and helped me book somewhere else for the rest of my time in Seoul. The hotel is right in central Myeongdong and close to the subway.

A nice-sized room, cleaned every day, and very welcoming staff who speak great English. The coffee is very good too. The subway station is about a 30-second walk away, and that stop is only one stop from Seoul Station. Shopping spots are nearby, restaurants and cafes are everywhere, and there’s a convenience store right next door. A great little hotel in a perfect location. I’d recommend it, especially for solo travellers or couples.
