The location was one of the best things about this hotel. It’s right in the busy Myeongdong area, with train and bus stations within walking distance, and a convenience store downstairs. Booking was easy, the receptionist was kind and spoke English, and we could leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out to keep exploring. For the price, the room was okay. There were some drawbacks. The Wi-Fi barely worked, though we spent most of our time out traveling. There were no bathroom toiletries, few power sockets, and the heater stopped working on our last day in March 2025, when it was still winter. The rooms are small, with little space for luggage. That didn’t bother us much in our 20s, but it wouldn’t be ideal with elderly people or toddlers. There’s no bidet, but the shower head had a really long hose, haha. Finding the hotel was hard too, we circled around several times before locating it. It was a so-so stay, fine for travelers with modest expectations or people in their early 20s who are ready to explore. Not great, but not bad either.

The one useful extra was being able to wash and dry our clothes. Otherwise, the stay was disappointing: the rooms didn’t match the photos, were very small and musty, and the air conditioning barely worked, so it felt humid. The area has lots of restaurants and stays noisy until late. They didn’t provide room cleaning.

It’s an affordable place in central Seoul with good transport connections. The building is a little old and sound carries through the walls; it’s also somewhat hidden. The elevator was broken when we arrived, but they got it fixed. The place was quite clean and, overall, satisfactory.
