A great pick for a woman traveling alone 🧳. It was my first hostel stay, and check-in and checkout were self-service, with the room code and locker PIN sent to me. The location gets a 10/10 from me: there’s a 24/7 7/11 downstairs, plus plenty of cafes and restaurants. Breakfast runs from 7am to 10am and you serve yourself. It’s simple but tasty, with bread, tea-stained eggs, cereal, coffee and tea, ham, and cheese. The bathrooms were roomy and clean, the bed was comfy, and there was lots of storage. No complaints :)

The receptionist looked disgusted when I arrived. I’d chosen and paid for a hostel bed for a female friend, and had all her check-in details on my phone. I’d carried her heavy bags up to reception and planned to help her check in before leaving. When I said I’d booked one bed for her, not for myself, the receptionist loudly told me to “get out.” I explained that I had the check-in information, but she said they didn’t want “random people like you on the women’s floor,” even though the reception is shared by men and women. It felt clearly racially motivated, and she went on being rude to my friend afterward. My friend’s feedback was that the place was noisy and unclean. Avoid these people. N.B. I posted the review on the booking site before my friend had picked up the luggage she’d left there. They then harassed her for 10 minutes, telling her to delete it and so on. When we wouldn’t, they falsely claimed I’d tried to get into a women-only area. I didn’t. The reception is used by men and women, and I was only there. Since they lied about it, I’m posting the review on other sites too.

The hostel is really nice, and the location is fantastic. They have towels, hair dryers, shampoo, and shower gel available, and the staff are very kind 😊😄 I really recommend staying here!

The place was clean, and the shared area was well looked after. It also has a basic breakfast, which was good. The room felt cramped, with barely enough space to open or store luggage. It was comfortable and well located, though the hostel wasn’t very social and the rules felt pretty strict.

There’s a chilled-out vibe and the location makes it easy to get around. The bed is tiny but very comfortable, and there’s decent storage. Slippers, towels, shower gel, and breakfast are all provided for free. Such a good hostel!
