Mizo Hotel

I went for the spa. It's run by Korean staff who speak limited English, and the older therapists seemed skilled. The experience was okay, though there were lots of breaks when I was left alone. For a 60-minute service, I think the actual massage time was only around 45 minutes. The price isn't low. I also didn't like that they show tourists several menus from high-priced to cheaper options. It seemed like I could end up paying double for the same service if I didn't bargain.

The place was clean, and the owner was very accommodating, so we were satisfied and would still come back. Free drinking water and coffee mattered to us, too. There were a couple of small things missing: no bath towels, though we had brought disposable ones, and no conditioner, just shampoo and shower gel.

This is a motel. If you're expecting a hotel, look somewhere else. Korea is notorious for branding motels as hotels, and Mizo hotel fit that pattern. I'd put it toward the lower end of motels. As a Korean and experienced traveller, I'd only suggest it if you're very short on cash, travelling alone, and need somewhere to crash near meyong dong. Bring a door stopper. I booked three nights but stayed only one before checking out and booking an actual hotel. There was a stranger's hat hanging in the bathroom, and the shower had no separation from the toilet, not even a curtain, so water got everywhere and soaked the floor. I should've paid attention to the lack of proper bathroom photos before booking. The renovation seemed poorly done with cheap Korean furniture, and all the Lenin's and blankets had a weird smell.

Mizo Spa works with the hotel, but I wouldn't go there. They misrepresented the massage time and charged more than other places. There was nobody there to massage me, so they connected me to a machine for 30 minutes. When I saw other customers, who weren't tourists, getting the treatment they deserved, they brushed it off by saying that's how they do massages.
