Moxy Seoul Insadong

The room was small, but it had enough space for our needs, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We spent four good nights at Moxy Insadong. The hotel was convenient for walking to lots of places, with several tube lines nearby, either just outside or a short walk away. The luggage lockers on level B1 were very useful for storing a few things.

The rooftop bar was nice, and the gym was small but did the job. The laundry room worked efficiently. The location was great, right across from Exit 4 at Jongno 3-ga on metro line #5, and there were lots of coffee shops around Ikseon hanok village for breakfast. The room was modern and compact, with room for one large suitcase. The shower pressure was a little low, but okay. I couldn’t tell whether the stain on the wall was dirt or just age. The AC cooled well but was loud, so I turned it off to sleep. A loose bedside outlet needed something to hold it in place, and its light was bright at night, so I had to cover it.

The staff and service were amazing, and the location worked perfectly for my trip. My room was on the lowest level, but outside noise wasn’t an issue. I’d recommend this place and would definitely consider returning.

The neighborhood gets lively at night, so outside noise may not suit light sleepers. It didn’t bother me much, especially if you’re out late or don’t mind some city sounds. Moxy Seoul Insadong is right among the things Seoul is known for, with food in every direction, from small cafés and street snacks to late night places. The subway is right outside, making it ridiculously easy to get around. I loved being able to drop my bags and head straight out to explore. I’d stay here again for the convenience, energy, and access to the city.
