We left after a short freak-out and found somewhere better. My friend and I had tried to stay here, but the photos were so outdated they felt like outright lies. The room looked nothing like them: the bed touched both walls, leaving us space to stand only at its foot. There was no window, and thick dust and nasty stains covered the walls, shelf, and outlets. Plaster was peeling off the walls too. The lobby was dirty, with trash lying around and dust over everything. We booked through booking.com, but the couple there argued loudly about us supposedly having no reservation and trying to trick them. When the woman said to give us a room, he shouted at her cruelly. My friend understands enough Korean to hear them say that because we were white and staying just one night, they'd put us in the basement. There was a huge TV hanging from the ceiling and surround-sound speakers for some reason, but since you could only stand at the end of the bed, the TV kept hitting my friend in the head. Never, ever try to stay here.

Our stay was good, and the room change wasn't a big deal since nothing we owned got wet. The roof started leaking on our second night, so they moved us to another room. The first one had a chic feel, while the replacement was quaint, with a nautical theme.

I liked the location and the price, but the rest was awful. The small room had no wardrobe, and the sink dripped all night. The brush for guests still had someone else's hair on it. There were two PCs, but when I tried to connect my USB at the back of the TV, I found the mess shown in the photo. The walls were dirty too, as in the photo, and the Japanese toilet didn't work. At reception, there was a bag left by someone like me, and I could have walked off with the luggage and emptied it whenever I wanted. The poor man at the desk also had to clean rooms, so nobody was there. After waiting ten minutes, I went upstairs to find someone. He clearly couldn't speak or understand English. Terrible.
