Park Hyatt Seoul

The food was a real highlight, especially the Signature Jjampong and breakfast. The buffet steak was incredibly tender, better than at many steakhouses, and they hand-slice plenty of cured meats too. The hotel manager welcomed us warmly, and everyone, from the doormen to the restaurant staff, was kind and gave great service. They paid attention to the details. I’d come back next time.

We stayed for five days, and everyone was so friendly and helpful. When we couldn’t book a van on Uber for the airport, the front desk helped us out and even wrote the details on a card for the driver. The van showed up within 3-4 minutes. I thought there might be an extra fee for arranging it, but it actually cost less than a regular Uber. Highly recommend!

The views at sunset from the check-in floor were amazing, and the food there was great too. I’d definitely recommend stopping in for dinner or a snack. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. Roxy and Sunny were both wonderful before and while we were there. Park Hyatt has one of the best views of Seoul’s busiest area. I wish I’d had a few more days to enjoy the spa, pool, and gym. Really excited to come back.

The breakfast venue staff were especially disappointing, with service that felt closer to a three-star level. Staff training overall seemed incomplete, and the team came across as inexperienced. The service may be acceptable by local Korean standards, but from a global perspective it still seems to be developing.
