The location worked well, close to Hongdae and the subway, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to sit and eat or chat with friends in the living room. Nearby holiday-night noise was an issue, though, with people drinking and making a racket late on. The place felt dated and not properly cleaned. I found hairs on the floor, grime around the bathroom sink, dirt on the toilet seat, and a very dirty tumble dryer. The bathroom window had a thick coat of dust, and some spots were moldy. It all looked like a rushed clean, which was unpleasant. The floor heating was uneven, with some parts extremely hot. Turning it down a degree or two made the rest feel cold, even though the floor was warm. After staying here, I didn’t feel it lived up to the online reviews. It was my first time in a B&B, and I found myself thinking I might clean it myself.
