Hotel Rian

The rooms were really spacious, and the laundry was a big plus. Staff were great too. We left a bag on the airport bus, but they tracked it down and told us where to meet the driver on the way back, so we got it back. The airport limousine stop is about a two-minute walk away, and there’s a CU across the corner with lots of food options nearby. The subway on the main street is also a two-minute walk, while other connecting lines are around 5-8 minutes away. Myendong is about a 15-minute walk. Our toilet sensor seemed faulty and flushed loudly in the middle of the night, but we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel sits at the end of a narrow alley, which felt a little odd at first, though it seemed safe. The metro and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. My room had a steady hissing noise behind the bed, day and night, so it wouldn’t suit a light sleeper. Thankfully, the hotel wasn’t full and I could switch rooms. Housekeeping doesn’t happen unless you ask. Otherwise, nobody takes away wet towels or empties the trash, and guests often leave their bins outside the door themselves. Bathroom setups differ by room. Mine had no separate shower area, so the whole room, toilet and mirror included, flooded after a shower. The floor got extremely slippery, so watch your step. At least it was always clean.

I slept really well because the beds were so comfortable. The rooms were very clean, and the price seemed fair for the quality. Getting around was convenient and made my travels easier. I was very satisfied with the experience and felt I got good value.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. I left my passport in a bag in the room after checking out, and the hotel contacted me about it. Their honesty and professionalism helped me get my things back safely, and I’m truly grateful. The hotel is also in a great spot, with metro stations and plenty of tourist attractions nearby.
